While socio-economic aspects are not mobility in the strict sense, they have a crucial relevance in any activity, especially in travel. Therefore, a series of indicators have been included that will, along with other mobility indicators, help better understand territorial characteristics.

Vehicle registrations
After exceeding the threshold of 300,000 vehicles registered in 2018, in 2019 it falls by 1.8%.
Catalonia has more than 7.78 million inhabitants on 1 January 2020, an increase of 105,262 populationcompared to the previous year, the highest population growth in the last 10 years.
