Sweden to build the first electric highway in the world able to charge electric vehicles on the go

With the aim of achieving a fossil fuel-free transport system and boosting the development of electric mobility solutions, Sweden has committed to building the first permanent electric road. This project aims to test the entire electric road system, including support services, payment and access systems and installation in a real-world environment, allowing electric vehicles to be charged while driving.
