Unemployed population according to territorial scope in Catalonia. Unemployed are all those people aged 16 or over who, according to the ILO criteria, during the reference week, will be in the following three situations simultaneously: a) unemployed, that is to say, they did not have a salaried or self-employed job , b) available for work, i.e. available for salaried employment or self-employment within the two weeks following the reference week, c) actively looking for work during the month preceding the Sunday of the reference week. This last requirement is not necessary if you have found a job that you will join within three months of the reference week.
