Flying taxis are getting closer to becoming a reality

During the summer of 2022, the city of Coventry (UK) made the first tests with VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), a helicopter designed to transport passengers within the city, and different companies are working to implement it in other cities. This new method of transportation could make travel within the city up to 75% faster and, thanks to its design, that does not require a runaway, make it more flexible. Moreover, it is a greener alternative, as it works with batteries and uses cleaner fuels, like hydrogen.
