The Hague tries a flat rate parking fee in the beach and the city centre

Faced with the high volume of cars parked on the streets of the historic centre and the beach, the Dutch city of The Hague has launched a pilot project with the aim of moving towards more sustainable mobility. It has set a flat parking fee of 50 euros, regardless of how long the car is parked, to discourage visitors from driving.
