Next Generation Funds

Within the framework of the Recovery Plan for Europe (NextGenerationEU), Catalonia intends to transform the challenges arising from the crisis generated by COVID-19 into an opportunity to promote the ecological transition and the digital transformation. The aim is to address the current challenges and drive the country towards becoming greener, more digital and more resilient. It’s estimated that in 2022 the Government of Catalonia will manage around 2,742 million euros from NextGenerationEU: - 614.8 million euros from REACT-EU - 1,527 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR) - An additional 600 million euros, following the sectoral conferences expected to take place this year.
