Law 37/2007 of 16 November on the reuse of public sector information, which transposes the Directive 2003/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council,and amended by Law 18/2015 of 9 July (which in turn transposes Directive 2013/37/EU), regulate the reuse of public information available to the administrations and bodies in which they hold a controlling interest, that is to say, the right of all potential market agents to reuse information from public bodies. In accordance with this regulation, the Administration permits the reproduction, distribution and public communication of its work and, in addition, the transformation of the work to make derivative works, for open use without any time limitation, so long as it does not contradict the license or notice a work may contain, which shall take legal precedence.
