• The project integrates a large part of Sagalés, one of the final steps towards reaching full deployment throughout the 6 zones of the Barcelona ATM.
   
• It features the commissioning of city services in Manresa or Granollers, among other municipalities, plus numerous high-demand interurban lines.

Barcelona, January 24.- This week, T-mobilitat adds a very significant part of the bus network within the 6 zones making up the Barcelona ATM (Metropolitan Transport Authority) that had yet to be incorporated into the new validation system. It consists of a group of more than 170 bus lines of the Sagalés company that provide both intercity and city bus services throughout the province of Barcelona.

Sagalés, one of the main bus operators in the fare system, is starting to integrate T-mobilitat through the following operations:

- Empresa Sagalés: around fifty interurban lines that operate in the Vallès Oriental and Moianès regions and connect them to Barcelona. It also includes the city bus service in Ametlla del Vallès, Cardedeu, Bigues, Parets del Vallès, Vilamajor, Vilanova del Vallès and Vallromanes.

- Cingles Bus: several interurban lines connecting the Maresme and Vallès regions, in addition to the city bus services in Sant Celoni and Santa Maria de Palautordera.

- CRA La Hispania: more than twenty interurban lines connecting the regions of Vallès, Maresme and Barcelona, and the city services of Alella-el Masnou, Mollet del Vallès and Sant Fost de Campsentelles.

- Ferrocarriles y Transportes: more than twenty interurban lines connecting the regions of Vallès, Maresme and Barcelona, and the city services of Alella-el Masnou, Mollet del Vallès and Sant Fost de Campsentelles.

- Manresa Bus: the eight city bus lines in the municipality of Manresa.

- 17 Bages Bus: more than thirty lines around Manresa, and the Bages and Berguedà regions.

- Transgran: twelve lines in the municipality of Granollers and environs.

These operations include different Express.cat lines: e7, e9, e10, e13, e19, e21

Some lines operated by Sagalés remain, such as city transport in Vic or interurban lines in the outlying areas, as well as its interurban lines in the northern Maresme region, which will be incorporated in the coming weeks. This is because these lines have vehicles with different technologies that have required the application of more complex technical solutions in order to adapt them to the new T-mobilitat system.

With this week’s additions, the deployment of T-mobilitat in the bus network of the 6 zones of the Barcelona ATM is close to 90%. The incorporation of bus operations that are not included, have different technologies or have required ad hoc adaptations of the T-mobilitat system will take place in the coming weeks.

Currently, the new system now has over half a million validations on weekdays and allows travel on the entire railway network in the Barcelona ATM’s, on all Barcelona metropolitan area buses, and practically all of the intercity and urban bus services in zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Barcelona ATM passes for all zones are available through the official T-mobilitat sales channels:

- Ticket machines provided by TMB, FGC, Rodalies and TRAM operators.

- T-mobilitat, TMB and FGC websites for card purchases.

- T-mobilitat, TMB App and FGC T-mobilitat apps.

- T-mobility service points in place around the public transport network.

We remind you that tickets for all the zones of the T-usual (also FM/FN) and the T-jove (also FM/FN) can be purchased with the corresponding rate reduction until 30th June 2023. Further information on the reduced rates and their conditions on the Barcelona ATM website.
