This expansion of T-mobilitat in the Rodalies network comes after the extension of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) train lines in these same zones. This means that passengers can now use T-mobilitat throughout the entire rail network of the first three fare zones of the Barcelona ATM and make transfers between the networks of the two operators, in addition to all the public transport services in the Metropolitan Fare Zone. (36 municipalities of the AMB).

For the time being, passengers wishing to travel beyond zone 3 will not be able to use T-mobilitat and will have to continue to use the existing magnetic travel passes, as will those who need to transfer to urban or interurban bus services in zones 2 and 3.
