Barcelona, 28 February 2022.- On Monday 28th February the plenary meeting of the Taula del Sector Logístic (TSL), the logistics sector round table group, was held online. Introduced by Marcè Rius, head of the Catalan government general directorate of transport and mobility (DGTM), this event brought together the main figures in the logistics sector.

First of all, after approving the minutes of the previous plenary session, the different actions taken by the work groups within the framework of the TSL were summarised, together with the current context, the work planned for 2022 and the range of technical support assigned to them.

● Group led by ATM Barcelona and DGTM: presented by Sergi Martínez-Abarca (ATM)
This work group highlighted the different measures proposed in the programme of actions provided for within the framework of the TSL:

- Pilot scheme to implement sustainable urban logistics plans.
- Digital platform for logistics information and dissemination of UGD (urban goods distribution) information.
- New, improved edition of the UGD management guide. This application consists of a web format that can be consulted interactively. It also includes information on good practices and a glossary of terms in the UGD field. The guide can be consulted through this link: Guia per a la gestió de la DUM
Other actions taken by ATM in 2021 apart from those planned within the TSL were reviewed. These included:
- Technical and economic viability assessment of setting up an urban goods consolidation centre within a medium-sized town (taking Terrassa as a case).
- Big Data analysis & Data Science Hub to optimise UDG.
- Creating a guide for urban goods distribution at night.

Looking ahead to 2022, ATM is to conduct a series of pilot trials in municipalities and/or larger conurbations to draw up PLUS in coordination with the Barcelona provincial authority's local mobility and road safety technical office. This work will be based on the guide drawn up by this office in collaboration with the UOC in the final months to provide guidelines for drawing up urban logistics plans.

With regard to the digital platform for logistics information and dissemination of UGD, information on more municipalities will be entered, mainly in the Maresme corridor. Also, in RECORD OF TSL MEETING2021 the portal has been adapted to allow local authorities to use it and manage UGD zones. The portal can be consulted at the address dum.atm.cat.

● Group led by AMB: presented by Marc Iglesias, (AMB)
Among the most important projects, mention was made of the low emission zone, which is already starting to deliver results, and Spro, the new application for UGD parking that already has over 12,000 spaces, 114,000 users and is active in 9 municipalities. Some of the projects to promote cycle logistics by running pilot trials of new urban logistics hubs were also described. Finally, a current project was highlighted involving an electric robot delivery vehicle in the municipality of Esplugues de Llobregat, together with Carnet and the UPC, with trials to start in 2022.

● Group led by CIMALSA: presented by Simó Batlle (Cimalsa).
Since 2021 the group's infrastructure and management area has been working on projects for lorry parking in areas of Barcelona and the Llobregat, in coordination with the ATM and DGTM. Work is also under way in connection with the management of goods arriving by rail.

● Fleets work group, led by DGQACC and Transcalit: presented by Yolanda Redondo, (Transcalit).
The market trends analysed in the area of alternative fuels for vehicles were highlighted, making clear the lack of infrastructure, meaning that there is still heavy dependence on diesel. Finally, mention was made of a key milestone, the 4th Ecotransport forum, to be held in June this year.

● Group led by AECOC: presented by José Carlos Espeso, (AECOC)
