The public transport service will run until 2 am this weekend
Due to the Government’s extension for at least another week of restrictions on bars and restaurants and the closure of night-time leisure venues, in order to control the COVID-19 pandemic, public transport in the Barcelona area will maintain its adapted timetables for as long as these measures remain in force.

Barcelona, 19 January 2022.- Due to the Government’s extension for at least another week of restrictions on bars and restaurants and the closure of night-time leisure venues, in order to control the COVID-19 pandemic, public transport in the Barcelona area will maintain its adapted timetables for as long as these measures remain in force. This was decided by the ATM, at the request of the consortium’s administrative bodies and the main public transport operators.
Metro, FGC, and TRAM
The Metro lines, FGC rail services and TRAM lines will operate until 2 am on both Friday and Saturday this coming weekend (22 and 23 January).
Night bus
The AMB NitBus service and the night buses run by the Catalan Government will stick to their usual timetables, in order to facilitate the mobility of workers.
Mandatory use of well-fitted masks and silence
In view of the current wave of COVID-19 infections, users are reminded that it is mandatory to wear a well-fitted face mask on public transport, and that it is recommended to remain silent during the journey. Both of these measures are aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
