T-mobilitat has completed its integration with all the transport systems in the 6 zones of the ATM. This means the withdrawal of the magnetic tickets (paper card) from sale can begin. The first will be T-jove.

Barcelona, 1st March.- The T-jove will be the first integrated ticket from the Barcelona ATM that will no longer be sold in a magnetic format (paper card). As the ATM announced in December, the pass intended for young people will only be available in the new T-mobilitat system; this step will take place on 15th March, once the deployment of the new contactless validation format has been completed on all transport lines that run through and connect the 6 zones of the Barcelona area.

In this sense, users who have not yet adopted the new system will have to sign up before acquiring a new ticket. The change does not mean that the magnetic T-jove card will stop working; if someone still has a valid paper T-jove card, they can continue travelling with it this 2023 until it runs out.

What can no longer be done is to acquire a magnetic T-jove card from the railway operators' vending machines. Other points of sale, such as newsagents’ or tobacconists, will also stop selling these cards in the short term.

In the coming days, the ATM will officially communicate the details on the extension of the T-jove up to the age of 30, which will only be available on T-mobilitat.

The public currently take nearly 700,000 trips a day with the new T-mobilitat system.

Barcelona ATM passes for all zones are available through the official T-mobilitat sales channels:

- Ticket machines provided by TMB, FGC, Rodalies and TRAM operators.
- T-mobilitat, TMB and FGC websites for card purchases.
- T-mobilitat, TMB App and FGC T-mobilitat apps.
- T-mobility service points in place around the public transport network.
