Barcelona, 27 October.- As of this Friday, 28 October, T-mobilitat, the new system for travel in the public transport network within the Barcelona area, will be implemented in urban and intercity bus lines of El Vallès Occidental, El Baix Llobregat Nord and El Bages counties, as well as in the urban services of Hostalets de Pierola, Piera and Vilafranca del Penedès.

This week's service additions comprise three new transport companies:

• Autocars del Penedès: The urban service of Vilafranca del Penedès.
• Montferri Hermanos: The urban bus services of Hostalets de Pierola and Piera, as well as three intercity bus lines.
• TGO DX: A dozen urban and intercity bus lines.

The expanded use of T-mobilitat beyond the limits of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona has been progressive since last summer. Currently, the new system enables passengers to travel throughout the entire railway network of the Barcelona ATM, throughout the entire bus network of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and in increasingly more intercity and urban bus lines in zones 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Sales channels for passes

Barcelona ATM passes for all zones are available through the official T-mobilitat sales channels:

- Ticket machines provided by TMB, FGC, Rodalies and TRAM operators.
- T-mobilitat, TMB and FGC websites for card purchases.
- T-mobilitat, TMB App and FGC T-mobilitat apps.
- T-mobility service points in place around the public transport network.

Travel passes purchased under the T-mobility system also benefit from the same reduction as passes under the magnetic system. In this respect, passes for all zones under T-usual (also FM/FN), T-casual and T-jove (also FM/FN) can be purchased with the relevant reduced fare until 31st December 2022. It should be remembered that all integrated transport passes will be valid until 15th January 2023.
